Your PC drive

Cloud desktop

To copy actual files (not just text), tick your local drive in the same menu — it then shows up as a redirected drive in File Explorer on the cloud desktop.

Enable clipboard sharing

Clipboard sharing (copy-paste of text) is usually on by default. If Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V isn't working between your PC and the cloud session:

  1. Disconnect your Remote Desktop session.
  2. Open Remote Desktop Connection, click Show Options > Local Resources.
  3. Under "Local devices and resources", click More and confirm Clipboard is ticked.
  4. Reconnect — copy-paste of text between your PC and the cloud desktop should now work.

Copy files, not just text

To copy actual files (not just text) between your local computer and the cloud desktop, enable your local drive under the same Local Resources > More menu. Once connected, your local drive appears in File Explorer inside the cloud session as a redirected drive, and you can copy-paste files both ways.
